You do not need to settle your entire AI strategy before evaluating a useful workflow. You do need to know what the work involves, which information it uses, who remains responsible and how you will judge the result. This guide helps business leaders and Salesforce administrators work through those decisions together.
Choose a process with a clear owner, usable information and a result someone can check. Document preparation, inquiry handling and service follow-up are possible starting points. Write down the exceptions as well as the usual path: the difficult cases often determine how much review the workflow needs.
A report or Salesforce Flow may already solve a structured, repeatable task. Where interpreting language or documents matters, compare native AI, configurable platforms, connected assistants and custom development. Ask the same questions of each: what it can access, who maintains it, how it handles uncertainty and what the complete workflow costs.
Agree a bounded set of scenarios and a baseline before building. Review quality, corrections, staff effort and consumption together. A faster answer is useful only if it supports the next step. Keep the decision to expand separate from the enthusiasm of the first demonstration.
