A practical starting point

Define a reviewable assessment

Intake teams must connect incoming documents with the right record, identify what is missing and prepare information for review. This guide focuses on that administrative work. It examines how suggested values, source information and review decisions can fit an existing Health Cloud workflow, without treating AI output as a clinical or eligibility decision.

An extracted value is only useful when the reviewer knows what it refers to, where it came from and what to do with it. Agree the expected fields, missing-information handling and next-step recommendation. Confidence signals can help organise review, but should not be treated as a guarantee of accuracy.

Keep the review in the workflow

Identify the interface where staff already work and how a suggestion becomes an accepted value. Make correction and escalation part of the design. The Assistance Fund story provides one implementation example; it is not evidence that another organisation has the same data model, requirements or outcome.

Expand responsibility only with evidence

Begin by checking document preparation and staff acceptance against representative scenarios. Record corrections and difficult cases. Further automation requires its own scope, controls and evaluation; a successful assisted workflow does not establish that autonomous decision-making is appropriate.
